Lubrication is extremely important for thin-walled bearingsTime:2018-12-27 Lubrication has a very important influence on the operation and life of thin-walled bearings. Grease is made of base oil, thickener and additives. The grease performance of different types and different grades varies greatly. The allowable rotation limit is different. Be careful when selecting. The performance of the grease is primarily determined by the base oil. Generally low viscosity base oil is suitable for low temperature and high speed; high viscosity is suitable for high temperature and high load. The thickener is also related to the lubricating properties, and the water resistance of the thickener determines the water resistance of the grease. In principle, the different greases of the brand cannot be mixed, and even the grease of the same thickener may have a bad influence on each other due to the different additives. Grease lubrication is the direct application of grease between the moving surfaces of thin-walled bearings. However, the following five principles must be followed when inputting grease to the raceway and sliding work surface of the bearing: (1) Grease must penetrate the working surface of the thin-walled bearing and the internal clearance of the bearing so that the grease can fully lubricate. (2) A certain amount of grease should be retained on the working surface of the bearing for a certain period of time, but it is necessary to prevent excessive loss of grease. (3) The flow direction of the input and discharge of grease should be consistent with the sealing requirements, which is conducive to the discharge of invading dirt. (4) Under the premise of ensuring good lubrication of thin-walled bearings, minimize the amount of grease. (5) Open the outlet hole at the end of the grease flow so that the newly added grease can squeeze out the old grease and ensure good lubrication. Special reminder, when lubricating the grease of equal-section thin-walled bearings, pay attention to the operating temperature range of the thin-wall bearing grease. If it is not in the proper temperature range, the effect will be counterproductive. |
